AGA Carvery Concept Launch in Worcestershire by Nostalgia Inns

Plough inn owners Mark and Louise Giles Launch Their AGA Carvery

Plough inn owners Mark and Louise Giles Launch Their AGA Carvery

Successful Launch of AGA Carvery in Worcestershire.

Worcestershire recently  saw the successful launch of the much anticipated AGA Carvery at The Plough Inn, Far Forest, near Bewdley.
Over 200 guests were treated to a free carvery for the newly installed AGA Cooker, which now sits pride of place at the fully refurbished family run Plough Inn, Far Forest.

The installation follows the resounding success of a recent innovation created by MD Adam Giles of Worcestershire based Nostalgia Inns, who own the Plough at Far Forest, Near Bewdley, and their sister pub Ye Olde Punch Bowl inn, Near Bridgnorth – the first venue to install the innovative concept AGA Carvery – The Next generation of Carveries in the UK.

Joint owners of The Plough Inn, Mark and Louise Giles, {Pictured in front of their AGA “Total Control” Cooker} celebrated the night with 200 guests, and hailed it as a resounding success, thanking everyone for their support. “Since Adam installed his AGA at the Punch Bowl in February, we have been inundated with requests from our regulars to install one of our own after they had tried it – commenting on how tender the meats are, and the crisp roast potatoes and tender vegetables – so we spoke to our local AGA Shop in Kidderminster who helped with the purchase from Shropshire based AGA, which arrived in time for our own launch – which just happened to be on our wedding anniversary. What better way to spend it than with 200 friends and regulars and be able to all eat from the beautiful AGA – it was like the perfect party” commented Mark Giles.

UK’s AGA Carvery – As official AGA Ambassador for the UK, Nostalgia Inns MD Adam Giles created the concept and has established the AGA carvery in his own pub Ye Olde Punch Bowl Inn, Bridgnorth, and now has helped with the installation of the second AGA “When we launched at the Punch Bowl no-one knew how popular it would be, as a first for the Uk, but since our launch in February we have been serving record customers at Ye Olde Punch Bowl Inn with amazingly positive customer feedback and the increased quality of the juicy meats, flavours of the vegetables and wonderfully crispy potatoes – with many of our customers travelling from outside Shropshire, including from Worcestershire, we are delighted to be able to launch our second AGA Carvery at The Plough to keep up with demand.”

Louise Giles added “I love my new AGA – I have always wanted one in my home, and seeing as I spend most of the time working and meeting customers in our pub, its like a home from home now – it looks beautiful in The Plough Inn, and is very efficient on electricity – I cant wait until the Winter when it will help warm the whole pub, and even our flat upstairs. We would like to thank everyone for their attendance, kind words and on-going support.”
