Gourmet Life Dinner at The Elms, Worcestershire

Gourmands from around the county gathered at Von essen  Elms Restaurant & Hotel,  for a sumptuous dinner prepared by the county’s top chefs created by Midlands Lifestyle Dining Club gourmetlife.

Their ‘Taste the Midlands’ 5 Chefs, 5 Courses Dinner to Celebrate British Food Fortnight. Pork and seared scallops, galantine of free range duck, milk-poached brill, braised ox cheek and a balckberry pannacotta with toasted oats and local hazelnuts were some of the treats in store. Vintage wines to accomany the meal included the local Astley Veritas 2007 and Astley Late Harvest 2008.
